What we do, in three steps

  1. Step 1: You bring a challenge

Tell us where you need help, whether it is planning your next steps, finding funding or fixing a process. Together, we agree on what the team will investigate and deliver.

  2. Step 2: A student consulting team works on it

Eight trained UQ student consultants and a team leader work on your project for 10 weeks during the university semester. Regular check-ins keep you involved as the work progresses.

  3. Step 3: You get a report and recommendations

At the end of the project you get a final report and a presentation at our pitch night, with recommendations you can act on. There is no cost: 180 Degrees Consulting UQ is a not-for-profit and our consulting is free for the organisations we work with.

Why are we called 180 Degrees?

“It’s because we work to turn good organisations into great organisations, challenges into opportunities, ideas into reality. We’re focused on positive transformation. Transforming organisations, and, in turn, transforming lives.”

What clients say

“Impressive problem solving skills”

“UQ 180 Degrees Consulting has completed three projects for UQ Health Care. Each of these health related projects were quite complex, requiring a fairly rapid comprehension of the issues and task at hand, and engagement with a range of stakeholders. The 180DC teams demonstrated impressive problem solving skills in analysing the compiled information and distilling their findings into conclusions and recommendations. Their reports were concise and well written, providing an excellent platform from which to take these projects onto future stages. 180DC were a delight to work with. I highly recommend their services.”
